Yesterday the Collector's Editions for Call of Duty Black Ops II were revealed. And yes, you did read that right... editions. Plural.
After the pitiful lack of a Prestige Edition last year for Modern Warfare 3, this year we're being treated to two editions again. A Hardened Edition (as usual) and this year's version of the Prestige Edition...
The Care Package Edition.
And wow. It is awesomely big, and contains quite a few great items.
Unfortunately though, the price is big to match. £159.99 to be exact. So higher than the usual Prestige Edition price of £129.99. Part of me thinks this may be down to the fact that with no Prestige Edition last year, but a Limited Edition console in it's place (at a price of £279.99 if I remember correctly), they must have received enough purchases for them to believe that people are willing to pay whatever they have to for something with the Call of Duty name on.
And to some extent, they're right.
The only bad part is, this then means that we have to pay more for the best edition this year, but at least it does have more content (and packaged in an AWESOME outer box) than the previous years Prestiges.
Anyway, enough of my rambling. Here is a video from Treyarch themselves, unboxing the Care Package Edition.
Call of Duty Black Ops II Care Package is releasing this year, on November 13th for both Xbox 360 and PS3, and will cost £159.99, and is exclusive (in the UK) to GAME (edit - just to clarify, also available at Gamestation, as they're both owned by GAME Group Ltd.).
