What a joke.

I bought 10 copies of the Limited Edition Art of Assassin's Creed III book from the Ubisoft Online Store, after countless phonecalls to them to check that it was definitely the Limited Edition (as the image depicts the standard artbook, but the description describes the LE).

Each phonecall, I was assured that it was definitely the Limited Edition artbook, and not to worry, as if I order, that is what I'd receive. Now, I'm not the only one who called, called, and called them again, to check this information is correct. Plenty of us did.

So when the book's release date (the 30th of October) had been and gone, with no sign of a dispatch email, we all worried a little. And, as you'd expect, we all called Ubisoft once again.

This time we were informed that there had been a stock issue and that the books hadn't yet arrived in the warehouse. "It should be sometime this week", they told us.

A week passed, and we called again. A familiar statement was given to us: "It should be sometime this week". We all called bullshit, but we waited patiently, not wanting to p*ss off Tom and the rest of Ubisoft's Customer Service line.

Another week passed, and then 2 weeks, each time with us calling up to check the status, and receiving that oh so familiar, but oh so bullshit line of "...sometime this week".

But, oh my God!

Boom, 10 dispatch emails fly into my inbox, and I quickly update my group buy thread with the news (this is the reason behind me ordering 10 copies, no profiteering here!).

Woohoo! Hurrah! Yay!

We were all so happy that they'd finally been dispatched.

A few days pass, and they all start arriving to houses, 8 turned up to my parent's house (2 had seemingly got lost in Swansea, why they went to Wales when I'm in Scotland, I do not know), and by this point, I had already caught wind of other members of receiving theirs, and them being Standard Edition artbooks. My mum phoned to tell me they had arrived, so I asked her to carefully open them, and she then confirmed to me that all 8 were Standard copies.

I called Ubisoft (once again) to inform them of the error. The woman on the other end of the line told me that not much could be done as I was still waiting on two copies, and they'd need to know if just this 8 are wrong, or if all 10 are. She opened a "ticket" for me anyway, and told me to call back once the others arrived.

I've spent around £40 so far, calling Ubisoft's CS team, as I can only contact them using my mobile, so it's a very f*cking big expense, especially for me to be told a whole pile of shit each time.

The next day, the remaining two showed up, and I called them, and was told that's it's currently under investigation, and that I'd be contacted directly once they discover what the problem is, he then mentioned that it seemed to be an error with the warehouse.

So for now, I am sitting with 10 artbooks, that nobody wants, 9 of which I'm hoping to be swapped for the Limited Edition, and one which the girl I was helping for it, wishes to have a refund instead.

I just hope that Ubisoft's Online Store buck up their ideas and sort this out as soon as possible, as it's quite clearly false advertising, and not something I am happy with - I actually wanted to cry when the first 8 showed up as it was the cherry on the very shitty cake that day (they arrived the same day I was in the car crash).

So, Ubisoft, as much as I love you, you're pissing me right off, and if you're reading this, please get this sorted out ASAP.

I'm back.

Sorry guys, been truly sucky at keeping this place updated lately.

As some of you may know already, I was in a car crash a few days ago. Now, no need to worry, nobody was hurt, just my mum's car was pretty... well... fucked.

So I'm gonna blame that for my lack of updates :P (As I genuinely planned on doing an update that night!).

Okay, anyway.

I have received quite a few goodies in the post lately, not millions, but maybe around 10 items or so. I've also got to take pics of some older things so I can get through it all as soon as possible, but it's taking much longer to photograph everything than you'd expect.

I will try to get an update on tonight, but if not, I'll definitely have one up tomorrow night for you all :)

I'm also going to seriously try and finish writing out my spreadsheet for my collection, as the sooner it's done the better, as once I finish it, it's just a case of updating it each time something new arrives!

Have any of you guys put together a spreadsheet? Or any new purchases for any of you?

Let me know in the comments below!

A month to go...

I've been away from here for the past few days as I've been over-run with birthday duties (AJ turned 2 on the 22nd!) and the masses of toys that go along with it (and the now ever-increasing lack of space I have!).

But, oh well! I'm back now...

It's my granda's birthday today, which has made me realise that it is now only 1 month to go until Christmas.

Holy sh*t.

I am so not ready for Christmas. My feelings towards Christmas keep varying from opposite ends of the spectrum right now, sometimes I'm majorly excited about it, then at the click of my fingers, I can be dreading it.

I love Christmas, don't get me wrong, I love all the cosy days in, snuggled up on the sofa with the duvet, watching Christmassy movies with Yankee Candles burning away, and a nice hot cup of tea, then obviously, Christmas day with all the food and presents!

But, the run up to Christmas is just awful. Trying to get everybody's presents sorted, and trying to decide what people will want/like... Argh, it's giving me a headache just thinking about it.

I've got four of AJ's presents sorted now (got two of them this morning), but still need to get his bigger things (three big Batman playsets), and then lots of little bits and bobs to fill out his pile and his stocking (probably more DC/Marvel characters, some WWE figures, and some Spongebob goodies).

Also have two of our friends presents sorted, and I also have all of Allan's presents done, as he does with me. So it's not looking too bad - although it does feel it...

I also have a present for another friend of mine, whose birthday was a couple of weeks ago, so I'll need to meet up with her soon to give her her present!

At least there's not too many CEs to get between now and Christmas...

Are any of you finished your Christmas shopping yet? Or have any of you yet to even start?

Let me know in the comments below!

Tuesday, 20 November 2012

I apologise in advance if this post seems a little jumbled and rambling, it is something that has pissed me off a little, and therefore I want to write my side of the story, since I seem to be just getting picked apart right now.

As some of you may have seen, I wrote a post on a forum I frequent (, about struggling.

Not struggling in the sense of "I have very little money, so my family must starve for me to buy the latest CE", because that would be ridiculous. But it appears that some people may have interpreted my post as such.

It was a more tongue in cheek post (riddled with some ranting about how companies release far too many things at this time of year, which is true), regarding how it's difficult to keep up with the releases that are being churned out around now.

I do well for myself. I am a Stay at home mum, with a blog (that I don't make any money out of), who collects CEs.

The other half of Collecting Asylum, Allan (my boyfriend), is the one with the job here. He was the one who got me interested in CEs, albeit now I am more addicted than he is! We both collect the same items, therefore we gather quite a lot of editions per month (than for example, a couple, where the boyfriend collects games, but the girlfriend collects shoes...).

Yes, we have a son. Since when did having a child mean that you cannot purchase things you enjoy, or have a hobby? Oh, that's right... It doesn't.

Yes, we spend a lot of money on our conjoined hobby, but that doesn't mean that our son goes without. He has more toys and clothes than he even knows what to do with, and lives in a loving, stable environment.

I could understand getting these comments about spending less if I was writing a blog about how I love to do drugs and spend all of my money on heroin, cocaine and ecstasy each month (I'd just like to point out that I don't do drugs haha, before anybody decides to read that the wrong way!). I write a simple blog, in my spare time (so usually if AJ is sleeping, or with his grandparents), about my hobby, which is collecting CEs. I really don't see what the big deal is about that?

I am not getting myself into debt, as I don't take out loans and Credit Cards here, there and everywhere, purely to pay for my collection. Heck, I've never owned a Credit Card in my life! I don't even own a store card, nor do I buy games through catalogues.

Any money I use to buy games is MY money. Well, our money, as Allan pays for some of the games too. Nothing illegal, nothing shady, and not money that technically isn't even real (eg, credit cards).

The only exception to that is when my parents pay for something for me, and I then pay them back the following week/month. This is not a regular occurrence, and I always refuse their offers, but every now and then, they will force me to accept (like with the Call of Duty: Black Ops II Care Package Edition). They are well off, and don't mind doing it, as they know it makes me happy to receive a new game. This is not just "free" money, as I always pay them back for it.

I was told yesterday that it seems "embarrassing" to borrow money from my parents, since I now live away from them, and therefore am unable to start my own family when I am relying on them. (This person has since apologised to me for what they said, as they "didn't mean to offend", but it did offend me, but I accept their apology).

Well, I don't see what is embarrassing about my parents loaning me money. Plenty of people borrow money from their parents. I don't actively seek out the money from my parents, they offer it. Maybe if I was begging them every month for a loan of "x" amount, to fund my preorders, then yeah, that would be pretty embarrassing, but that is not what happens.

I also don't see how that prevents me from "starting my own family". I don't rely on the money from my parents. They offer me money so I don't have to cancel whatever preorder it is they are willing to loan me the money for, had they not loaned me the money, the preorder would just get cancelled. I wouldn't run myself into the ground just to get another CE.

I also had written in my post that at that point in time, I was around £100 over my budget. As you know from reading this blog, I write my budget far in advance, and do my best to stick to it. Every now and then, something comes up, and throws me off a little, but within a day or two, it's normally fixed. That is what happened then. I was £100 over budget as I'd made a few random purchases, and also a couple of things I'd meant to cancel, I had forgotten about. Easy mistake, especially when you are preordering a lot of things at once. Even though I wrote in that post that there was nothing I could cancel to make up that deficit in my budget, there was. I just couldn't see it at first.

When my budget goes t*ts up, I get confused, and get all flustered and can't figure out how to fix it. So I leave it for a while, then come back to it, and voila. Easily fixed. I am now back to being perfectly fine within my budget, no problems at all.

Sure, I can't just make random purchases all the time, as my budget doesn't permit it, but I don't mind that (okay, I lie, it annoys me a little), I just have to accept it (or order it anyway, and cancel something I've preordered to make up for it).

Next year though - yes, I've already budgeted for 2013 - I am saving up a little each month so that we can get some savings behind us, and also so that we will be able to afford a little random purchase every now and then (be it a takeaway, or a little eBay bargain).

Anyway, I'm done now, there's my justification. Probably doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but oh well, f*ck it.

It arrived!

After over two weeks of waiting, and being told this, that and the next thing about where my order is/when it would arrive, and for it to keep chopping and changing...

My Assassin's Creed III UbiWorkshop Edition is here!

It's not as fabulous as I was expecting... the outer box is pretty damn flimsy, but what can you do?

Also, the "compensation" for all the f*cking around didn't materialise, so have contacted UWS to see what's up with that.

Will get pics up later tonight :D

Small steelbook update and a review!

Received a few steelbooks in the mail yesterday, so thought I'd post those first. It's obviously a red, black and white themed steelbook update haha...

And, today...

I also received a T-shirt in the mail, from a company called JammyMunkey (find them here) who make T-shirts that have taken some inspiration from video games, can't wait to get more (but my budget can't handle it right now, noooo!)

Here it is!

Apologies for my really shoddy folding skills!

It's a really gorgeous t-shirt, and is inspired by Halo (which makes it even better!).

Close up of the print:

You can get this t-shirt in a variety of other colours (I chose green, obviously!), and each colour t-shirt has a different colour helmet on it :)

This is their lovely little hang tags for their clothing:

The t-shirt is really great quality, and is 100% cotton, so feels lovely and soft, and not at all cheap (like some t-shirts you can buy on the high street). Also, the t-shirt is preshrunk, which is fantastic, as it saves me from worrying about shrinking it in the wash!

I also chose to have my t-shirt printed in an XL since that way I can wear it loose, but Allan (the other half of the Asylum!) can also borrow it from me from time to time, especially as he's a huge Halo fan too, and practically fell in love with the t-shirt when he saw it!

I decided to get him to wear it for a picture since it gives a better view of it :) and apologies for his red eyes... I think he may be a vampire...

Lots of new pics :)

Took some pics over the past two days, just of some items that have arrived recently, as well as some things that are going away for Christmas (so really I shouldn't have photographed them yet, but I couldn't help myself!)

So here they are!

Prince of Persia Press Kit.

Pokémon Colosseum & Super Monkey Ball - both sealed.

Ratchet & Clank All 4 One Special Edition - still sealed.

Dreamcast Collection Limited Edition Vinyl.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Limited Edition + Playing Cards.

Ico Promo Disc.

MGS4 White Slipcover Edition, signed.
(I know Kojima's signature looks funny, but we have speculated that the original buyer - the person who got it signed - went over Kojima's signature in a different pen as it was faded... and well, f*cked it up. Got it for an okay price, and was helping out a friend, so I didn't mind too much).

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks Limited Edition - still sealed.

Lord of the Rings: The Battle of Middle Earth Limited Edition Tin.

Saints Row 2 Promo Playing Cards.

Heavy Rain Press Kit.

Resident Evil 4 Limited Edition Chainsaw Gamecube Controller.

Two massive packages arrived, and inside both is the COD: Black Ops II Care Package Edition (one is mine, and one was for a friend).

Care Package Edition (for Xbox 360, I took the slipcover off though to show the box off better).

Inside the Care Package (didn't bother taking the Quadrotor out as it's apparently foam, not plastic, and well... a piece of sh*t. I still really love this edition though, regardless).

Behind the Quadrotor's box is the steelbook and coins :)

Sorry for the lighting in the next batch, took them whilst the light was off as AJ was having a nap haha :D

Halo 4 Limited Edition.

Halo 4 Promo Steelbook.

Halo 4 Limited Edition Strategy Guide.

Promo Assassin's Creed III 1GB USB Bracelet.

Assassin's Creed III Join or Die Edition.

Assassin's Creed III Freedom Edition.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted Steelbook.

Doom 3 BFG Edition.

WWE 13 Austin 3:16 Edition.

Batman: Arkham City GOTY Edition.

Skylanders Giants Exclusive Glow in the Dark Starter Pack.

Skylanders Giants Legendary Bouncer Figure.

Hitman: Absolution Promo Agent 47 Figure.

Little packet he came in.

The Cave Promo Action Figure.

Shawshank Redemption Steelbook (with 4 Art Cards).

Top Gun, ET, Men in Black 3 and Men in Black Trilogy Steelbooks (MIB3 one has a stupid HMV sticker over it, argh).

Transformers Steelbook.

Hot Fuzz Steelbook.

And as usual, I've just posted basic pictures of all of the items, will post more detailed ones (like ones showing the contents, etc) at the point where I do individual unboxing posts for them :) Will be putting some up for a vote soon enough (maybe some of these, maybe other ones from my collection).

Feel free to leave any comments below :)

Monday, 12 November 2012

Things have been a bit manic lately in the Asylum, what with AJ's birthday only 10 days away, and Christmas not long after that.

AJ has also not been to see his Nanna & Granda for three weeks (Allan's parents, not mine), as their youngest was ill with Hand, Foot & Mouth.

But luckily she's all better now, so he's off to his Nanna's today for a couple of hours as she misses him, then out with them for a few hours tomorrow as well.

So at least I'll finally manage to get the house tidied up :)

And also get some updated photos for you all!

So check back later :)

Snow White & The Huntsman CE Unboxing!

Major apologies for my hair. Hadn't bothered to straighten it. Also, notice the change of scenery! I had to record this one in my bedroom as AJ was downstairs running riot with his dad (haha). The kids curtains are because I've just this past week or two swapped rooms with AJ so there's still some finishing touches to be done (such as switching the curtains and also tidying away those boxes and suitcases sitting behind me!)

Hope you all enjoy, and feel free to leave comments!

I've now recorded two unboxings, the winning vote - Street Fighter 25th Anniversary CE - and Snow White & The Huntsman CE (since Xmo has been oh, so desperate for it :P).

I've edited the Snow White one and it's now uploading to YouTube. My eyes are nearly closed from being so tired, yet the upload will take 40 mins.

Argh. Bloody YouTube.

So sorry guys, but I think I'll just post them on here in the morning, as I fear I may die of sleep deprivation if I don't - after all, I have to sleep when AJ is sleeping, or else I'm screwed haha!

Massive apologies, but I promise you all that you will get extra goodies tomorrow, will do at least one other unboxing (might do a vote, or might just choose something recent), plus I'll post pics of all of my recent pick ups (minus the Halo 4 Xbox console, since it's hiding out at my parent's house till Christmas).

Again, so sorry guys...

Prepare Yourselves!

The updates are coming!

Well, not yet they're not, but they will be :)

In the next few hours I'm going to tidy up the house, and then go for a bath and once all of that is done and dusted, I shall get to work on photographing some more items from the collection.

If you're very lucky, I'll even do an unboxing video or two.

So here is my first ever Unboxing Vote.

For the first unboxing (the second one will be up for vote after this one), choose between:

a) Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Edition.
b) Assassin's Creed III Freedom Edition
or c) Dead Island Russian Collector's Edition.

Votes must be commented in the comments below, don't worry, you won't have to sign up or anything, just simply comment with the unboxing you'd like to see done today :) The one with the most votes will be unboxed, so share with your friends and get them to vote, too!

I'll also try to get my Borderlands 2 Ultimate Loot Chest unboxing up today, since I recorded it at the same time as the One Piece CE unboxing, but I never bothered to upload it!

And if I have time, I'll arrange another Unboxing Vote later on tonight :)

Get voting!

Now that Halloween and Bonfire Night have been and gone, the only Holiday that's left is Christmas, in the UK, anyway.

Yesterday, when I went to collect my Limited Edition Halo 4 Xbox Console, I was reminded as to just how close Christmas is, since I won't see the Xbox again until then *sobs*

It's scary how fast this year has gone by, and even scarier how many editions have been released in that time. Last year, I was complaining about how many were being brought out so close together, but I did my best at buying them all, and only missed out on a couple that to this day, should still be easy to pick up, especially now that they've dropped below RRP (as most editions do nowadays *sigh*).

But this year...

This year has been awful. Awful, but magnificent at the same time. Depressing, yet full of joy.

You get my point, right?

It's been the year of the Collector's Edition (although we all thought that about 2011, too). More companies are flushing out edition after edition, because of this apparent new "craze" of collecting. The companies are now seeing this potential market, and instead of bringing out a few, well thought out, beautifully presented "Collector's Editions", they're just whacking them out faster than a Cadbury's chocolate production line.

...but we still all buy into it.

My "budget", if you want to call it that - my leftover money each month, after paying all my bills, rent and buying all of the groceries for my family and I, is not a very high one. Granted, it's higher than some people's budgets for collecting, and I've been alerted to this quite a lot recently on my home away from home,, as there have been a sudden influx of collectors aged between 14-18, ones who obviously will have less money to throw at every edition that is announced (not that I'm much older, I'm only 20!).

But, even at that, my budget is definitely not in the top percentage. I have a few hundred spare, per month, to spend on editions. Some months, I'll have as little as £100, because I've saved so much to prepare for the following month, or I've borrowed from my parents (who are lifesavers!) and have to owe them a chunk back, and other months, because I've saved in advance, or I beg my parents for a loan of £200 because I'm short for the latest edition to be announced, I might have in the region of £500.

The past few months, I've been closer to the £500 region, mainly because I've saved a little bit here and there (not so much save, as I don't move it to a different bank account, I just make sure it stays in my bank), as well as budget my ass off.

But things aren't looking too good right now.

Some plans have messed up, leaving my budget a good £100 out of kilter, also preventing me from being able to afford the Limited Edition Pikachu 3DSXL, as well as stopping me from being able to order the newly announced Assassin's Creed Anthology, which is set for a November 30th release (much to my dismay).

Also, with Christmas on the horizon, I've got less money to spare right now, as I've got to buy presents. I've managed to get a handful of presents out of the way, but I'm still struggling.

I don't actually have to buy too many presents, as I have quite a small group of family and friends, which is probably quite lucky, if I'm being honest, as I'd struggle even more if I had a lot to buy for.

Next year, I'm praying that there will either be less editions pumped out over the course of the year, or they'll be better spaced out, since too many tend to come out within the same week/month. But, with my preorder list already being filled up with lots of January-April releases, it's not looking too promising.

I'll try to only preorder the things I can't live without next year though, as this year, with preordering absolutely everything, only for a large majority to drop in price within weeks, it's been pretty damn depressing. And coupled with the fact that I've budgeted my money down to nothing this year (leaving no money for spontaneous purchases, and/or cinema trips, nights out, etc), the lack of money has left me feeling pretty down at times.

And hopefully by next Christmas, my posts will be full of Christmas cheer :)

Is anybody else feeling the pinch this year? Are you going to change your collecting habits next year?

Let me know in the comments below!

Things just never go to plan...

Today is Halo 4's Launch Day.

I'm guessing the majority of you guys knew that, right?

Well, I received my Limited Edition this morning, and have been excited all day to go and collect my Limited Edition Xbox 360 Console to go along with it (albeit the console will be going away until Christmas, as it's a present from my parents).

GAME were doing an offer that if you traded in a 250gb Xbox 360 Slim, in the same transaction that you buy a Halo 4 Limited Edition Xbox 360 Slim, you'd get the Halo 4 one for £100. That's a massive £169.99 off... The Pikachu 3DSXL is coming out next month, and is £179.99, so I figured I could trade my old Slim in, get the £169.99 off, and put a tenner towards the Pikachu 3DSXL, and my parents could get that for me too!

As you can imagine, these thoughts were now cemented into my head. I packaged up my old 250gb Slim into it's original packaging (everything still there, since I'm a hoarder) and off I went to GAME.

Once I arrived, there was quite a queue, but no worries. I waited :)

Got to the front, only for them to decline my trade in offer, as there was a small scratch on my Xbox. And by small, I mean less than 1cm.

I actually had to hold back the tears, as that is my whole plan of getting my Pikachu 3DSXL now flushed down the drain, never to be seen again. I then told him I'd just take my Xbox home, but I'd still like to purchase the Halo 4 one. He looked at me in slight disbelief, as if owning two Xboxes is totally unheard of. I then mentioned that the Black Slim would just be going away in a cupboard or something, since my Halo Reach Xbox is still in working order. Again, looked at me in shock.

Three Xboxes!?

I can totally tell that is what he was thinking.

I noticed a small sign saying an offer of today, that if you buy Halo 4, as well as a Season Pass, and a year's Xbox Live subscription, they'd give you a free steelbook.

So I requested one of these steelbooks, and asked if it was different to the one in the Limited Edition (I was sure it would be, anyway). He picked up the Limited Edition to try and explain that the one in the Limited Edition is white, to which I replied that it was okay, I had already received the Limited Edition this morning, I just mean is the bonus steelbook different.

Again, a look of shock, this time mixed with a slight hint of respect (haha!)

He said it was, and gave me one for free, as well as discount the Limited Edition guide by £12 for me.

So even though I'm extremely gutted about having to miss out on my Pikachu 3DSXL (yes, I might just go cry in a corner for a little while), today's purchases have still been pretty good:

- Halo 4 Limited Edition.
- Halo 4 Limited Edition Xbox 360 Console.
- Halo 4 Limited Edition Hardback Guide.
- Halo 4 Promo Steelbook.
- Assassin's Creed III Limited Edition Eurogamer Print (7/1000).
- Hitman Absolution Mini Agent 47 Figure (Eurogamer Freebie).
- £5 off voucher for Insertcoin Clothing (YAY!).
- Dishonored T-Shirt (Eurogamer Freebie) - I'm wearing it now!
- Medal of Honor Warfighter Poster (Eurogamer Freebie).
- Metal Gear 25th Anniversary Poster (Eurogamer Freebie).
- The Cave Promo Figure (Eurogamer Freebie).
- TeeFury T-Shirt (Heisenberg "The Emperor" - Breaking Bad, yeaaahhh).

So yeah, still pretty happy with all the things that have arrived, been collected today :)

An extra special thanks to my friend Tom, aka NoScruffyNo, for helping me out with the ACIII Eurogamer print, and for getting me all of the goodies!

What items have you bought/received today?

Let me know in the comments below!

Assassin's Creed Anthology.

Revealed this morning, the Assassin's Creed Anthology is a bundle pack of all five AC games, housed inside a gorgeous steelbook, with five exclusive lithographs (one for each game) as well as ALL of the single and multiplayer DLC content.

It's a fantastic looking edition.

The downside?

It's £120.00.

I simply cannot afford that right now. In fact, I'm minus £100 in my budget right now, so I can't really afford ANYTHING right now.

It makes me really sad. I just wish Ubisoft had given us some prior warning, maybe even push the release date for this back until maybe January or February?

I guarantee it'd still get sales, probably even more sales then, than it would now, since more people could save up for it.

So gutted that this is one piece of Assassin's Creed merch I'm missing out on, and will no doubt sell out - leaving me without it, forever :(

Why do I have to be so bloody poor!?

Monday, 5 November 2012

I am so pissed off right now.

Been on Facebook, looking around at harmless things, only to have major The Walking Dead spoilers pop up on my news feed.

Calmed down, and then BOOM. New spoiler.

A friend posts on his status a rather big spoiler of the ending of Assassin's Creed III.

What a dick.

Steven, I'm looking at you!

Bonfire Night.

It's Bonfire Night tonight. Guy Fawkes... Firework night. Whatever you prefer to call it.

We haven't really done anything for Bonfire Night for the past few years, didn't see the point really. But, tonight we took AJ out for a walk to see all the fireworks :)

His reactions varied from fear to laughter, to awe, to shock, and then repeat.

He wasn't sure what to make of the fireworks, at all!

Was a fun little walk, although we came back in quite fast as it's pretty damn cold tonight...

So, now we're just counting down the hours till Halo 4. Getting the Limited Edition in the mail tomorrow and picking up the Halo 4 Limited Edition Xbox 360 tomorrow at GAME, although the console shall be going away until Christmas (it's a present to us, from my parents).

Can't wait!

What are you guys doing to celebrate bonfire night, and/or prepare for the release of Halo 4?

Let me know in the comments below :D

Friday, 2 November 2012

Well, it is now the 2nd of November. Two days after the release of Assassin's Creed III. And over a week since my UbiWorkshop Edition was posted to me.

And guess what?

It's still not here.

It's sitting in the Glasgow Depot of UPS, and I can't even go collect it as UbiWorkshop contacted UPS and requested that it be returned to sender. As you can understand, I am very upset about this. Somehow it doesn't seem to be on it's way back yet, and instead "Held in Warehouse", so I hope UbiWorkshop get in contact with UPS again soon to have it shipped to me, instead of back to them.

Rumour has it that they're doing this because a lot of people have been receiving their editions for the wrong format, but I don't care!
