Then we have the middle one: Buccaneer Edition, which is exclusive to GAME within the UK.

This edition contains the least out of the editions so far, but is still presented beautifully in a Jumbo Steelbook, decorated with the symbol of the Assassin's, and the Skull of the Pirates. It is £64.99 (GBP) on consoles, and £54.99 (GBP) for PC. Inside you get the following:

      • Sacrificed Secrets: Recover Captain Drake's lost treasures, including golden flintlocks and cutlass when exploring the exotic island of Sacrifices.

    • Additional Single & Multiplayer items
      • Captain Kenway's Legacy

Of course, we have the generic "Special Edition" too, which contains some Day One DLC, but if you know me, then you know I don't count those as editions.

I have preordered all three already, majorly looking forward to them. Rumour has it that there is another edition though, the Pirates of the Seven Seas Edition.

This is the image doing the rounds, I am currently awaiting information regarding this image to see if the edition is real or fake:

Have you got any of these preordered? Are you hoping that the Seven Seas one is real, or a dud?

Tomb Raider Store, part 2.

Okay, so the prints that Treehouse are selling on the Tomb Raider store officially go up for sale today. If I had the money, I'd buy them all as they are gorgeous.

They'd look amazing framed on my wall. So gutted that I'm not rich, haha!

Are any of you going to get any of the prints? If so, which ones?

Let me know, in the comments below!

On the subject of birthdays...

It's my dad's birthday today.

We got him the new Bond boxset - not the one with all of the movies, just the Daniel Craig one. It has the three Daniel Craig Bond movies in a nice white slipcase.

He hasn't seen Quantum of Solace or Skyfall yet, but really enjoyed Casino Royale, so figured it would be a good idea to get him that.

And, in 2 and a bit week's time, it'll be my mum's birthday.

No freaking idea of what to get her. I got her a necklace, some of her favourite wine and chocolates at Christmas, and got her a necklace for Mother's Day. So I definitely can't go down the necklace route again. Might get her a nice pair of earrings or a bracelet, but not sure yet.

It feels like not a month goes by before you have to buy more presents for people. So frustrating. Although, I suppose spreading them out is better than having everyone to deal with in the one month. That'd probably be the death of me!

Only four months to go until my birthday, too. Well, almost three, now. I really can't wait. Eeeek, gonna be 21. Still feels like I'm 18, mind you.

Anyway, I'm off for now to do some more tidying. CE.org is back online, so I better do the tidying before I open it up and get distracted!

CollectorsEdition.org Downtime.

Well, my home away from home - CE.org - is currently down. It has been down since last night, which was quite unlucky timing as I was planning on uploading more of my collection to my intro thread.

But now, it has proved quite good for me. In no way do I mean that I am glad it's down. I'm not. As sad as it sounds, I am lost without it. But it has meant that I have been less distracted from doing other things which required doing.

Such as:

Planning Allan's birthday.

Allan's birthday is fast approaching. Okay, it's still over a month away (heck, just under two months away, actually!), but the time is running out for my planning.

I have already arranged the presents. So no need for any further planning on that part. It was the cake that needed my attention.

As you may, or may not know, I have Cake Decorating qualifications. I know, I know. How totally stupid does that sound? Qualifications, to decorate a cake. But, I shit you not. It does exist. (I'm not dissing cake makers here, just the fact that Cake Decorating qualification sounds like it has been made up! Big respect to the awesome cake makers out there ♥)

I'm a fan of a few facebook pages of cake makers, and it always makes me so jealous to see the awesome cakes that are being made. I am not as fantastic as a lot of the cake makers out there, but I am okay at it (I got an A in my exam, if you're wondering).

So, for Allan's birthday, I have decided to make his cake, instead of just buying one from a shop/bakery.

The design is very... advanced. It will take a lot of time and effort to pull off, but I am hoping I can do it. Sadly, I cannot divulge any of my ideas as of now, as I want the cake to be a surprise (he knows I'm making a cake, but probably will only be expecting a simple white iced cake with fondant letters).

I have drawn up the plan, written notes, etc. All that is required now is the ingredients. But of course, with 2 months to go until his birthday, I can't begin it just yet!

Between now and May, though, I will have to build up a stock of sugarpaste, and sugarpaste colouring gels in my cupboard, since I don't want to have to worry about the cost nearer the time. So I will add in one or two items in with my weekly grocery shop before then, that way, the cost won't really be noticed (especially as I have a small amount of money budgeted for party food and drink in May, but of course I can't just blow it all on the cake!).

The downtime of CE.org will also prove to be a good thing, since my house will actually be super quick to tidy today, instead of being a 5 hour long job, with CE breaks in between.

Although, I still can't wait for it to be back online.

Are any of you affected by the CE.org downtime? What are you doing to curb your withdrawal symptoms (haha!)?

Tomb Raider Store.

The guys (and gals, if there are any) over at Treehouse Store have recently announced that they are bringing out a bunch of limited art prints (some giclees, and some screenprints) for the recently released Tomb Raider.

This excited me, but sadly the sale of them has been delayed for now (not sure by how long). I imagine they will go up for sale within this month, which is quite gutting since I'm skint (haha - when am I not!?), so won't be able to get any. They are all $40 each, which is surprisingly well priced - when they were announced, I was expecting much higher prices, so to hear that they're all $40 was a lovely surprise.

My three favourites from them are:

Hoping that family will buy one (or more) for my 21st - albeit they'd have to buy them and put them away till then, as I don't turn 21 until July! Either that, or I hope they don't sell out too fast, but I just know they will, as - well, look at them. They're beautiful.

Big thanks to the staff at Treehouse Brand (and of course the individual artists of each one) for these wonderful, beautiful pieces of art.

I just hope someday that all three will take pride of place on my wall.

Are you getting any of the artwork? Which is your favourite?

Photography.

Still in the process of photographing the collection. Almost feels like I'll never be finished, but I'm actually quite close, so yay!

Going out to visit my grandparents today, so once I return, I'll get some more photos taken, as well as upload some for you all, since I've been lacking on the updates.

Also, I think I will finally begin my collection thread over at CEo today. Just need to take a few more pics, and edit a batch more (adding my watermark, etc), so that I feel ready enough to start showing them, but I'll get my thread opened tonight, regardless.

For my collection thread, I will only post one photo of each edition (most likely a front shot), and then if I've made a post here with further images, I shall link to it (since there is a 30 photo limit per post).

Hope you all enjoy it when it comes, and please let me know in the comments below if there is anything in particular you'd like a full photo post of, soon. Obviously I can only do things I actually own haha.

I plan on uploading pics for at least 2-3 editions per day, so that you will have stuff to look at everyday, but I won't run out of content too soon.

Let me know if there's something in particular that you'd like to see (no funny business!), and I'll do my best :)

:)

Some more photographs will be coming later on tonight to you all :)

Been working through the collection still, still not near to completion, but I am getting there. It's nice to have a rummage through the collection again. Lots of things that I'd forgotten about, and it's nice to have a good, in-depth look at it all for once, instead of just seeing whichever part of the item is on show from within my display shelves.

I'm getting a new phone towards the end of this month, so really can't wait for that. Considering doing some form of unboxing for it, but to be honest, it might be a waste to do an unboxing of a new phone instead of an unboxing of something from the collection. What would you all rather see? An unboxing of the iPhone 5 (as I think that's what I'm probably gonna get) or an unboxing of something from the collection (if something from the collection, then what would you wanna see)?

Let me know in the comments below!

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.

So the next installment in the Assassin's Creed franchise has been officially confirmed. I was a little skeptical when the news first broke, or rather, was 'leaked', but now that it has been confirmed, the excitement is beginning to build.

Assassin's Creed has been a fan favourite for years now, and this new game will be no exception. I am looking forward to the new direction it seems to be taking: pirates.

Obviously with the protagonist being Connor Kenway (the protagonist of the previous chapter)'s grandfather, there will probably be little references and subtle nods to Assassin's Creed III. The timeline however, with this being prior to the events of ACIII, might make those nods a little difficult.

With Assassin's Creed III, as most of you will know, there was an insane amount of collectible goodness. From the Join or Die Edition, to the UbiWorkshop Edition, to all the little tidbits that were dished out as preorder bonuses all across the globe, it certainly proved to be a monumental task to collect, even for the most hardcore of collectors. I, myself, managed to gather quite a lot of Assassin's Creed III goodies, but my bank account simply couldn't keep up with the onslaught of purchases, so in the end, I did miss quite a fair bit.

I aim to do my best with collecting this year's variety of goodies for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, but my purse is already shuddering at the thought.

But at least the game itself should be good, and I definitely can't wait to play it.

What are your thoughts on the announcement of ACIV?
Let me know in the comments below :)

Update.

I've been working away at photographing the entire collection. I'm not yet finished, but getting there, slowly but surely.

As an apology for the long wait for some photos from me, I shall upload a small batch for your enjoyment tonight. Along with the photos of the items, I will post various information regarding them. Both information about what is included, but also information about where I got it, price I paid (along with RRP) etc. as I plan on not only using this as posts to show all of you (and keep you informed, etc) but to remind myself of things, too.

The posts will be a bit jumbled whilst still hosted here on Blogger, in the sense of, they will still be listed by date - argh. But as soon as the summer comes, along with my new laptop, and I get the site back onto it's own hosting, I will have the pages all in a sensible database.

So keep your eyes peeled for the small update tonight!
