As usual, sorry for the lack of updates here recently. I'm gonna get back into the way of doing regular updates from today onwards, as it is frustrating me that I keep letting things slide.
Also, I am currently writing up a collection database, so that once I get my Alienware laptop (for my birthday in July, however I should be getting it early, in mid-June), it's already started, so that only the finishing touches will be required. That, and it means when I'm uploading reviews and/or unboxings here, all of the info I require is ready and waiting for me (other than the review itself, of course!).
A lot of the information I want for my database is proving hard to find however, as I haven't kept much track of when I receive items, just when they are paid for - so from now on I am always going to write a post on here when I receive a package, even if I don't really have much else to say that day, just so I don't lose the information :)
|E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) will be running from June 11-13th 2013.|
Really looking forward to E3 this year. I look forward to it every year, but this year I am absolutely dying for it to be E3-time, so that I can find out all I need to know about the upcoming next-gen consoles, as well as all of their games.
Both consoles have left a lot to be desired right now, with basically sticking to revealing the bare minimum prior to now, so it will be a very interesting show this year (at least I hope!) with lots of information still to be told about both the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One.
My loyalties already lie with Xbox One, purely because the 360 is my preferred console of choice this gen. Prior to the seventh generation however, I never owned an Xbox (the original one, since I can no longer call it Xbox 1 - grr!). I had a PS1 and a PS2, and even though I do own a PS3, the 360 is still my preferred console.
The Xbox One will definitely be my first purchase upon the release of the next-gens, followed by the PS4 a few months later, depending on my budget (and the price of each console to begin with).
The promised 15 exclusives from Xbox One have really piqued my interest, so it will be great to find out what they all are, especially since the PS3 is always revered for being the better "exclusive" console between it and the Xbox 360 - despite Xbox having awesome exclusives such as Halo, Gears of War, Fable, etc.
Sony, of course, have a lot of great exclusives for their current gen console, so hopefully that trend follows over into generation eight, bringing us new installments in their well known franchises, such as: Uncharted, God of War and inFamous.
We have yet to find out exactly which games will be released for each console, and when, as well as pricing for both the consoles, and their games. So E3 will hopefully be an enlightening experience :)
What are you hoping to find out at E3?
