Nintendo Direct E3 Round Up.

Due to some pretty extreme lag at the beginning of the E3 Nintendo Direct, I don't know if I missed anything major for the first few titles, if so - I apologise.

Pokémon X & Y.

New Pokémon type - fairies.

You can now bond with your Pokémon by taking care of them, petting them, etc (similar to in Nintendogs).

Will release on October 12th on Nintendo 3DS.

Super Mario 3D World.

An all new adventure for Mario, similar to 3D Land for the 3DS, but this time for Wii U. Sharing a lot of similar styles and ideas from it's 3DS counterpart, SM3DWorld looks amazing. A new costume for Mario was revealed, the Cat Suit. Activated by a little gold bell, it gives you the ability to climb walls, and pounce on enemies.

Supporting 4 player simultaneous play, you can play with friends as Mario, Luigi, Toad and Princess Peach, tackling the game in a team.

Super Mario 3D World will launch in December this year, exclusively on the Wii U.

Mario Kart 8.

The next game in the Mario Kart line is crazier than ever before, with zany tracks and vertical walls (luckily your kart will have rotating wheels, so you don't fall off!).

It will launch in Spring 2014 for Wii U.

Wind Waker HD.

With stunning visuals, and in full 1080p, it will "immerse you in the game like never before".

Added to the game, since the functionality of the previous GameCube version's "Tingle Tuner" will not be available, when Tingle gives you the bottle now, you can write notes to throw into the ocean.

Your message in a bottle will wash up on other gamer's beaches, in their games, as will their's to you!

Releasing in October 2013, this is a must-buy. Hoping for a Limited Edition console to be announced soon...

Plus, a new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (what was previously known as A Link to the Past II).

Wonderful 101.

A very interesting looking game, with multiplayer for up to 5 people. Not too much was said about it, but it will apparently get it's own dedicated Nintendo Direct in the near future, so will post more news then.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze.

For the first time on Wii U, with HD graphics and one of the biggest advances in the DK franchise: different camera angles, DKC:TF looks awesome. Side scrolling, and lots of fun.

Releasing towards the end of 2013 for Wii U.

Bayonetta 2.

A new hairstyle and costume for Bayonetta in this new trailer. Launching next year exclusively on Wii U.

Super Smash Bros.

Finally, a new SSB game, coming to Wii U and 3DS. With two new characters, Villager - as seen here in this trailer:

aaaaaaand...
