Collection/House Progress!

ANNOUNCEMENT: It is taking waaaay longer to caption these photos than I expected, so I am just going to publish this post as it is so far, and I will keep coming back to add more information under/above each image. If there is anything you see that you want more info on, that I haven't yet added, feel free to comment and ask. Moreso, if you see anything I have missed, please let me know!

So these photos came around due to me restarting my collection database (again!) and the fact that at night, I can't see what's in the bloody shelves with the light off (obviously don't want to disturb Eva when she is sleeping), so it was making it take so much longer than normal.

Soooo, I decided to just take some photos of everything, including some dodgy squishing-the-camera-right-into-the-shelf-just-to-see-what's-at-the-back type shots, so that I can do my database wherever I am, regardless of the time of day, and without having to actually be in the room with everything :)

And then I thought that the photos would be a good little insight for you all to see how things are progressing (and also to show why it's taking so long at the moment between posts - we're very busy lol!), so here they are!

Apologies for how crap some of the photos are - as I said, they were literally just intended for me to be able to note everything down from. Also, apologies for any photos that you can see out into our hallway - our hallway is a disgusting mess right now as we have no flooring down as of yet (shouldn't be too long now) so it's just the really horrendous tile that was under the carpet that the previous owners of the house had, so it's all cracked, scuffed and well... just dirty looking.

So don't worry, that won't always be like that haha!

Have also popped in a couple of photos for you to see how the rest of the house is progressing too. I will need to find the "before" pics to show you, as believe me, the house was in dire need of work and a clean. Hence why it is taking so bloody long!

AJ's side of the bedroom (Eva's is the opposite wall, but still needs done as it's still white at the moment lol). Ignore his totally unmatched bedsheets, still need to put some TMNT ones on his bed! Photo is basically just to show how we did his wall (with the Ninja Turtles' masks). Brown shelf on the right has since been relocated to the living room :)

Livingroom :) Computer is set up in the corner, however we need to get a new table. Single seater still covered in crap as we're still in the process of going through all of our boxes (yes - we still have some to unpack!) TV and various consoles, etc all around it. TV looks weirdly tiny there, even though it is a 55" one. Pink curtain at the right hand side is still to be replaced (we have workers outside on scaffolding so need to have something up to stop them from looking in/stop other people climbing on the scaffolding and looking in).

Moving on to the collection!

I, Robot heads (UK one on left, Japanese one on the right) and Electro head from the The Amazing Spider-Man 2 CE. ET CE also - ET's face totally gives me the heebie jeebies - and some more I, Robot stuff, like a set with the DVD & a book, and then there's the DVD from the Japanese CE, and then the 3D Bluray from the UK CE. I, Robot folder thing is more contents from the Japanese CE.

Behind it is the Reservoir Dogs CE, and underneath is a CE for Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

Difficult to see, but the Elm St. sign, which is number 2/15, and signed by Freddy himself - Mr Robert Englund! - is currently just sitting there until we get it stuck back up on our bedroom door.

As you can tell by the gaps, we're still moving everything into the shelves, and struggling a little with placement. But anyway, on this shelf we can see another Reservoir Dogs CE, Dracula CE, Superman Funko Pop! figure, Breaking Bad CE, and SDCC Exclusive Funko Pop! figures of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, along with two Bad Taste Bears, "Huggy" with the Facehugger, obviously inspired by the Alien franchise, and "Arnold", obviously inspired by Terminator.

Ignore the shelves stacked to the left, lol. In the centre we have The Amazing Spider-Man CE from the US, and on the right is the Tron Legacy CE, which was exclusive to Play.com in the UK, and limited/numbered to 1000, IIRC.

On the left is the Kung Fu Hustle CE, which I tracked down around five years ago for Allan as he's a big fan, and got some extra promo goodies with it (which are also there, but difficult to see) such as a calendar and a watch. In front are two boxes for customizable Munny figures (they won't be staying there, don't worry) and in the centre, which is our first "you're-kinda-not-supposed-to-be-on-that-shelf-but-we're-struggling-for-space-elsewhere" thing, and that is the Dead Space 3 Dev Team Edition.

Here we have the Rambo CE, which has all the Rambo movies, housed inside a plastic grenade, the Twilight: New Moon CE (I know, I know), which is one of two things to have lost it's outer box amidst the homemove (although we actually just couldn't find the box whilst packing, so fear it may be in the far corners of the dark attic of our old house somewhere), and a Top Gear CE.

Underneath is a LEGO storage brick, which is full of Gogo's Crazy Bones, rather than LEGO, and some random stuff that has just been sat at the side, such as a Papa Roach wall display, some RAGE badges, a PC game or two, some Insert Coin Clothing postcards, and a Father's Day card to Allan from the kiddies :)

Up top we have the Planet of the Apes Collection Caeser head, TWD Season 2 CE's zombie head, and the Alien Quadrilogy 20th Anniversary Alien head.

Beneath are the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Avengers Assembled CE, Game of Thrones Season 1 CE, The Walking Dead Press Kits (for both season 1 and 2), "Bloody B&W" figures from TWD, the Season 3 CE for TWD, and a Zombie bust bank. Along with some promo "Organic Jerky" from the mockumentary "Long Pigs" signed by the actor and director.

Close up of our "Organic Jerky" - made out of real human flesh*. Apparently. And behind it are some signed copies of stuff, along with the Big Bang Theory Emmy Press Kit, and the Prometheus to Alien: The Evolution LE Boxset.

* Don't worry, I'm joking, of course. That's just what it says on the pack :)

The signed stuff at the back: Donnie Darko, signed by Jake Gyllenhaal; two copies of Long Pigs, signed by the main actor and the director; Shaun of the Dead, signed by the main cast; The Big Bang Theory seasons 1 & 2, signed by Kunal Nayyar (Raj), and a closer shot of the TBBT Emmy "For Your Consideration" Press Kit.

Tucked away in behind the Prometheus to Alien boxset is a Gift Set for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, and the OST.

And here is our Kick-Ass CE (which we got the graphic novel inside signed by Mark Millar), Jurassic Park LE Trilogy, a smaller Jurassic Park III LE on top, and at the side you can see Avatar peeking through (another Play.com exclusive IIRC), as well as Godzilla looking all majestic and sh*t. Godzilla 3D steelbook is also there, along with the random inclusion of a Green Lantern ring (lol).

Better look at big ol' Godzilla there, along with a Matrix Collection CE. In front of the Matrix collection, you can see a phone, and above/behind are two editions of I Am Legend, as well as the Family Guy: Blue Harvest LE.

Better look at the two I am Legend CEs that are lurking there, along with Blue Harvest.

Next shelf has on it a variety of movie CEs, again.

At the back is Inception's CE, and in front, of course, there is the X-Men LE Collection (from France), the Pirates of the Caribbean LE Treasure Chest (containing all four movies), and a Fast and Furious box set, containing movies 1-5.

In the centre of the shelf is the Hangover 2 CE in suitcase style packaging, the Snow White & the Huntsman CE, which was from Amazon.de. Hard to see, but the highly-reflective thing in front of the Snow White boxset is a The Dark Knight replica of Two-Face's coin, and the knife is an actual prop from the movie "Doom", that I bought Allan years ago.

And finally, on the right hand side of the shelf, we have the The Dark Knight Rises CE, above it is a standard boxset containing the first two movies, in the far corner at the top is a pair of TDK socks, from a brand called Topeco, which I had sent over to me from Sweden by fellow collector Discjunkie. And the white box at the far right is the The Dark Knight Trilogy CE :) Also in front of that, which is hard to see is a little Batman letter opener sword, standing upright.

L-R: Darth Malgus statue from the SWTOR CE (missing his hand as AJ broke it, however I have two replacement statues now), LOTR The Two Towers CE, Scarface CE, Der Nebel (The Mist) Limited Edition, Zimmer 1408 (1408) LE, Basic Instinct Ice Pack Edition, Battle Royale LE and The Evil Dead Book of the Dead Edition. The two wrapped up 3DS consoles are the LE Smash Bros 3DSXL on top, and the The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds LE 3DSXL underneath (their boxes are on another shelf).

Better angle for some of the editions, and now you can also see the rest of what's on the shelf. Continuing on from The Evil Dead, we have the The Godfather Trilogy Cigar Box LE, Wanted LE, Dawn of the Dead Hardbox, The Wicker Man LE, The Incredible Hulk LE and finally The Hulk boxset. At the front, there's a Gameboy Color copy of The Jungle Book, and a NECA Alien figure on top - both of which have since moved to another shelf. Heck, this entire shelf has actually moved now!

Some Disney Infinity figures, with a LE Crystal Lightning McQueen in the back. Power Disc album in the back also. The large Pikachu is a 3DS charging dock, and the little things on the right hand side are cases for Gogo's Crazy Bones.

Better angle here for the Crazy Bones cases, can see another couple of Disney Infinity figures, along with 2x boxes for Wii U controllers (these won't be staying within the shelf, they'll be moved into a cupboard), and 2x Scanavo boxes, which have our Limited Edition Jumbo Steelbooks inside, which we won from Scanavo (they were giving away 100 if I remember correctly, via their facebook and website). On top of those is a Fifa 12 mini football. Haven't ever bothered to pump it up, as it's already hard enugh as it is to place within the shelves (doesn't seem to suit anywhere), so rolling about would just make that worse.

Far Cry 3 Vaas Montenegro statue, on top is the base thing from Disney Infinity, and to the right, Skylander Portal, with the LE The Legend of Zelda CE Guide Box Set underneath.

To the left of the Far Cry 3 (not sure why I uploaded these pics in reverse order lol), is our Grand Theft Auto V CE.

Up top is the Alien Anthology Collector's Edition, and for these Gameboy games, I've made it harder than necessary to figure out what these games are! L-R: Tom and Jerry, Pokémon Puzzle Challenge, Pokémon Pinball, Pokémon Blue and Pokémon Yellow :)

Top row, L-R: Nintendogs Dalmatian & Friends, Super Mario 64 DS, The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, The Smurfs 2, Squeeballs Party, Super Monkey Ball: Touch & Roll, Pokémon Ranger, Pokémon Dash.

Bottom row, L-R: Pokémon Link!, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness, Pokémon Diamond, Pokémon Pearl, Pokémon Platinum, Pokémon Black and Pokémon White.

Top row, L-R: Pokémon HeartGold, Pokémon SoulSilver, Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Star Fox 64 3D, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - and on top there is an R4 card.

Bottom row, L-R: Super Monkey Ball 3D, Mario Tennis Open, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, Ben 10 Omniverse 2, Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS, Tomodachi Life, Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Moshi Monsters Theme Park, Rabbids 3D - and on top here are two 3DS sleeves, one with Mario Kart 7 branding, and one for Super Mario 3D Land.

Top row, L-R: How to Train Your Dragon 2, Luigi's Mansion 2, Fifa 12, Yoshi's New Island, Lego: The Hobbit, and two cases, one for a DS (however it is empty) with Pokémon branding on it, and the other for a Gameboy Advance (currently has a purple GBA in it).

Bottom row, L-R: Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance CE, Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I Don't Know! CE and Mario Kart 7 Steelbook.

Top row, L-R: Super Mario 3D Land Steelbook, New Super Mario Bros. 2 Steelbook (w/ preorder bonus coin inside), Pokémon Omega Ruby Steelbook Edition, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Steelbook Edition, and bundle copies of Wii Sports and Mario Kart (from when I got my Wii).

Bottom row, L-R: Mario Strikers Charged Football, Raving Rabbids: Travel in Time, Up, Just Dance 2, MadWorld, Project Zero 2, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Poképark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure, Donkey Kong Country Returns and Super Mario Galaxy.

Top row, L-R: Gameboy Game Link cable, Gameboy Advance SP, Gameboy Color Pokémon Edition.

Bottom row, L-R: Super Mario Galaxy 2 Tin Edition, Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed, Zombi U, New Super Luigi U, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, New Super Mario Bros. U and then the steelbook for NSMBU as well :)

Top row, L-R: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword RAH Link figure, Super Mario advent calendar (the thin white thing lol), The Order: 1886 display, Killzone 3 Helghast Edition.

Bottom row, L-R: The Legend of Zelda Link Figma, Poliwhirl plushie, Pokémon Typing Adventure, Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater 3DS Konami Style Premium Package, Gameboy Advance pouch (full of GBA games), Black/Blue Nintendo 2DS, Aqua Blue Nintendo 3DS. White DSi, Black DSi.

Hidden in the back is my Pikachu plushie from the Pokémon centre in Japan. Can also vaguely see the CE for Pandora's Tower to the left of it, and the red boxes at the front are two little mini cars, in the style of Plusle and Minun from Pokémon :)

Forgot to move the Link Figma to take photos of what is behind it, but other than the Pandora's Tower CE, also have the The Last Story CE, and the Collector's Box to put Pandora's Tower/The Last Story/Xenoblade Chronicles game cases in, along with a little artbook for the three.

On the Zelda shelf, we have at the back: Sheik statue (from First4Figures), and the Spirit Tracks CE. In front, we have the Ocarina Edition for Ocarina of Time 3D, the Majora's Mask Special Edition, Skyward Sword Steelbooks (both the French, and Futureshop exclusive versions), and then we have some more things, better photo for those below :)

So there's a Ocarina of Time 3D display, with a promo OoT3D case (the normal case is behind it), Ocarina of Time 3D OST, Link sweet dispenser, a Ocarina of Time 3D 3DS case, a teeny-tiny Wind Waker figure of Link, and some CE guides (ones bought separately, not the ones from inside the Treasure Chest CE): Skyward Sword, A Link Between Worlds and Wind Waker HD. And of course, there is both the standard (green) and CE (brown) versions of the Hyrule Historia book.

In the back, you can see as well as the Spirit Tracks CE that I pointed out in another image, there is also the Skyward Sword CE w/ the golden Wiimote Controller.

In the back we have the CEs for Wind Waker HD, Hyrule Warriors and Mario Kart 8. On top are my pink DS Lite, and my black DSi (the box of which was in a previous pic). In front you can see the Limited Edition Zelda GBASP, with a GBASP carry case on top (which is filled with GBA games), a NES Classics (for GBA) copy of The Legend of Zelda, along with copies of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past w/ Four Swords Adventure, The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap, The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons, and finally The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask for the N64.

Continuing on, we have the Blue Shell from the Mario Kart 8 CE, the Mario Kart special trophy from Club Nintendo, with the boxes for the LE 3DSXLs behind it, for Super Smash Bros. and A Link Between Worlds. Above is a boxed Ice White GBA, with a Nintendo game carry-case n top (with some DS games in it), and my Aqua Blue 3DS. And finally at the right, is a LE Zelda 25th Anniversary 3DS console, with yet another OoT3D display on top :)

Some N64 games: Toy Story 2, Tonic Trouble, Super Mario 64 x2 (one copy more recently bought, the other is from when Allan was a kid), Extreme-G XG2 and Fifa '99.

Up top, we have Killzone 3 Helghast Edition (although I pointed that out in another pic), Resistance 3 Survivor Edition, Unchasrted 3: Drake's Deception Explorer Edition and The Last of Us Post-Pandemic Edition.

Some better, close-up shots of this shelf below:

Down a shelf and we have: Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Konami Style Premium Package, Ico Promo Disc, Heavy Rain Press Kit, Prince of Persia Press Kit, in the back we have the Gran Turismo 5 Signature Edition and tp the far right we have the Wizard's Edition of Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (second image is better shot of that).

Flopped over in the previous photos, but here we have a little origami swan, from Heavy Rain.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Asia Prestige Edition, with Alone in the Dark LE on top, and the small cardboard box you can see contains a Dead Rising Servbot mug, which I love so much, but am terrified to actually display as it is so rare, signed by Keiji Inafune, and I spent quite a lot on it... y'know - considering it is a mug...

Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Edition.

Top shelf: Mortal Kombat X Kollector's Edition by Coarse, Borderlands 2 Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition and on top is the Borderlands 2 Guns, Guns, Guns Top Trumps pack.

An assortment of screen-used props from various movies, such as: P2, Superhero Movie, The Killers, Piranha 3D, The Back Up Plan, etc.

Allan's Pride & Joy - his DBZ stuff.

Dragonball Z is, and probably always will be, Allan's favourite anime. Heck, for those of you who haven't seen him IRL (or in photos), he has a full sleeve dedicated to DBZ. It is one of his big passions within the collection, along with The Legend of Zelda.

Under there, along with the complete series of Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, is the Call of Duty: Black Ops II Care Package Edition. Which is huge. And had literally nowhere else I could put it.

N64 just randomly sitting there, and the brown cardboard box it is on contains our second copy of the LE The Legend of Zelda CE Guide book collection. Whatever you want to call that set, haha.

In our bedroom, we have the Halo 4 LE Xbox 360, and Pokémon LE Nintendo 64 set up for our TV.

And last but not least, a DBZ Capsule Corp ship, which Allan has had since he was very young :) This has yet to be placed amongst the other DBZ things, purely because we kinda ran out of space there... :)
