Entries to the Asylum - Friday 30th October 2015

Our entries to the Asylum for yesterday included something that was long-awaited (as it should've been here a while ago!)...

- Mad Max: Fury Road Limited Collector's Edition [Bluray].
- October's "TIME" Loot Crate.

And no, the "long-awaited" wasn't a pun on the "TIME" Loot Crate, haha. It was in reference to the Mad Max CE. This CE was released on the 5th October in the UK, from Zavvi, no less.

Sadly there were some issues with my order but I finally got it resolved. I did however enquire about changing my delivery address on the order, as I'd prefer if it came directly to myself, rather than my parent's address, only to be told that there is no way to change delivery address in the system, and that if I wanted to change the address, they could cancel my order and I could re-order the item.

Hell no.

Mad Max: Fury Road Limited Collector's Edition was £100 when I ordered it. Since then, it "sold out" then was relisted at the price of £139.99. So if I wanted to change the address, purely to save my mum from no doubt having to collect from a neighbour/sorting office (which she did), I'd have to pay the grand price of £39.99 for the privilege.

No thank you.

But, it's here now, and I'm really happy with it. I'll go into more detail in my actual unboxing of it, but I will say that the statue replica of Max's Interceptor is great quality as it is made out of polystone. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the edition being £100, but I certainly wouldn't have paid £139.99 for it. I don't know, maybe I would have, as we're big Mad Max fans, but knowing that it was £100 beforehand, I'd have certainly not wanted to pay the extra £40, but that's just natural I suppose :)

Anyway, unboxings of these two entries to the Asylum will be uploaded very soon, as we are looking to get a whole load of videos/reviews/etc up for you all during this weekend.

Aaaand, we've got something very special planned for you all, for the release of Fallout 4. So I can't wait for that. 10 days to go, eeeeek!

So what have you all received lately? Let us know in the comments below!
