Oculus Rift.

Preorders for the long-awaited Oculus Rift are set to open on Wednesday, but with no mention of pricing in sight.

Included inside the package will be:

- Oculus Rift headset.
- A copy of Lucky's Tale.
- An Xbox One controller.

and those who put in a preorder - as opposed to waiting and purchasing one on launch - will also receive a free copy of EVE: Valkyrie.

Back in October, Palmer Luckey did say that we should expect the retail unit to cost more than the development kits, which were priced at $350, but that it would be somewhere around that mark. What we're hoping is that the payment will not be due at the point of preorder, and instead will be taken upon dispatch, as understandably, with it being January, and having just blown all of our money at Christmas and New Year (including £105 on a full-size ping pong table that we have no room for), we have run out of funds to spare.

Sadly, if it does turn out to be one of those "pay when you place the order" type deals, then we'll just have to sit this one out for now.

Preorders open at 6PM GMT this Wednesday.

Despite the lack of price detailing, have you decided whether or not you're gonna bite? Or do you have a price limit, that if it's over, you'll pass?
